We stayed very busy in Colorado. Finding lots to se and do.

Here we are in front of Long's Peak.

This is us the first time we took James to Colorado. He's changed a little.

Searching for deer and the snow.

Diggin the dirt, even in the Colorado.

Fixed things with our tools.

Spent time with family.

James had lots of fun in the dirt. If you look closely you can see a handprint of dirt across his face.

We went for many walks. This is at Lily Lake between Estes and Allenspark. James started looking for deer tracks as we walked. He was successful once he started to recognize. Now we look for footprints in our dirt at home.

Just having fun.

Time at the Alluvial Fan.

Climbed rocks.

The snow at Bear Lake.

The trip wasn't complete without some ice cream. James really enjoyed this. We let him pick his own flavor for the first time. He chose birthday cake. It had cake batter, frosting, and sprinkles in it.

We also found a park. Another big thrill.
It was a fun trip. It's funny to ask James now what we saw and did. His says we saw chipmunks and snow. It's fun to see what's important to him.
